God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.
Serving
With No Strings Attached
THE VISION
Jesus said in Matthew 22:37-39 that the greatest commandment is to “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” And the second is to “Love your neighbor as yourself.” This is the goal of Impact’s Outreach Ministry; to love God with all our heart, soul and mind as we love our neighbor.
We may do this by loving our literal neighbors by cutting their grass, providing a meal or inviting them to church. Often it is by loving others in our community by collecting food for the local food bank, serving a meal to the homeless or providing them with blankets or warm socks. We collect school supplies for teachers and serve them breakfast, praying over the school as well. We love to visit Assisted Living Facilities and love on the residents there or pray with young mothers at pregnancy centers and provide essential items she may need for the baby. We also hope to do short term mission trips in the future. While we are providing for people’s physical needs in the community we want more than anything to share the hope that we have found in Jesus Christ.
UPCOMING OPPORTUNITIES
Through each of our opportunities, our mission is simple - To serve people and love them like Jesus.
